This plugin was something I came up with quickly at the request of Karol Gajda, so he could test conversion rates of different implementations of Hello Bar. It’s simple in its first iteration, but I do have plans to add features, as I discover needs.
A-B Script Split provides an admin page with textareas into which you can paste two scripts (with the script tags). The scripts are cycled each time the site loads, so that each script is displayed 50% of the time. That’s all there is to it.

Installation
- If you are upgrading, it is recommended that you deactivate the plugin from the Plugins page, and delete the folder from your server.
- Upload the unzipped contents to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Active the plugin from the Plugins page.
- Go to settings page to configure A-B Script Split
Configuration
- Add two versions of a script (or two completely different scripts, if you want!)
- Click save
- Enjoy!
